mary bruce, what are you hearing from the harris campaign tonight?do they make of his performance, governor walz? >> look, i think they're -- especially at the beginning there may have been some truth to the concerns from the campaign, that governor walz had some nerves going on. it certainly seemed to take him a little while to hit his stride there. i think the campaign does feel, though, that once he did get into that stride that his plainspoken style certainly resonates. they feel that he did a good job. hitting the issues, articulating the issues. and they feel he did a good job constantly linking back to donald trump. at several points even highlighting daylight between what vance was arguing and what donald trump stands for. they especially feel that that moment at the end where vance was describing what happened on january 6th and his refusal to say, you know, who won the election, that that was a strong moment for the harris-walz ticket. i will say you did see over and over again senator vance trying to argue and point back that kamala harris
